Support the next generation of Little Masters
At Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, we believe creativity is within each of us. We all have the ability to make and experience art.
With your generous donations, you enable us to provide vital access to the arts for youth in our free afterschool arts program, Imagine. Studio, the individuals who take our weekly drawing classes, and the seniors and families who join us for artist-driven workshops in comics, painting, zines, textiles, printmaking, paper mache, and much more.
In this pandemic era, access to the arts is more important now than it’s ever been. We’ve experienced firsthand how the arts have generated resilience in our beloved community.
In the digital classroom this year, youth learned about Clementine Hunter, Judith Scott and Dadaism, and shared their own creations. We continued our art supply delivery service to ensure new materials were always available. We projected artworks onto our Center building. We ‘played music on the porch’ on our front lawn. We started a community quilt project. We popped up in the neighborhood. All in all, finding new ways to connect, make art, and create shared spaces, safely. The creative threads between us were unbroken.
As we look to the new year, and the reopening of our building, we look forward to amplifying diverse artistic voices, and expanding our programming, events and workshops for folks of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We are excited to reconnect with you, live and in-person, to meet you where you are at, in our shared love for the arts.
On behalf of our team, board, and community, we wish you a happy holiday season, and a bright new year!
We hope you’ll support us, for the best is yet to come.

Give the gift of art.
“As a single mother, having these types of programs available is very helpful economically because art classes can be expensive! But aside from that having the right teachers that give the children feedback and encourage them is the most amazing thing because it plants that seed in the children and encourages them to want to learn more. The Imagine studio program left Ellie so inspired that I am looking for art classes so she can continue her journey.”
— Estela Chicas, Mother of Little Master Ellie
“I'm enjoying Riley's class and learning a lot. At 76, it's a challenge to be a beginner, and what a diversity of students. It's just great!”
— Carolyn Kim, Student in Drawing Lab with Riley Strom
“I loved the class. Companionable group of people, patient & knowledgeable instructor, gentle pace.”
— Sarah Forth, Student in Mindful Mending with Connie Rohman
“Events like this build a wonderful bond in our community and I hope that we can continue to pass on to our next generation. Arts definitely make an impact on everyone and carve the best out of us! Please keep doing what you do for our community, we need more arts teachers like you in this world!”
